Kae Haliday

My name is Kae and I am a missionary moving to Japan hopefully in 2025. I find great importance in discipleship, prayer, and worship. And I love being creative.

The Lord can work through anything, dreams, visions, music, and all creation. However, the Lord invites us to be part of the work that he is doing. I believe God values connection and has made it that intentional relationship is one of the ways that He displays his love. After all God Himself became flesh so that He could be in closer relationship with us, to disciple us, and eventually send us out to show others the love of Christ. I feel a deep burden for those who do not know Jesus. This is why I am convicted to go to the nations and tell the good news.

The Lord put East Asia in my heart years ago. I am a third culture kid, so the East is one of my many homes. Last year, I had the opportunity to serve in Japan for 3 months. During that time I fell in love with the people and the unique culture of Japan. The predominant religions of Japan are Shintoism and Buddhism however, many don't identify with any religion. Roughly 1% of Japan's population is Christian and many have never heard the Gospel. I believe the Gospel is a message of hope and displays the love that God has for his creation. The people of Japan deserve to know that they have a father in heaven who has already been in relentless pursuit of them.
