Kenny Wada

As the Director of Domestic Missions at JEMS, I have the privilege of serving a diverse community of Christian leaders. This includes church pastors, college campus ministers, volunteer directors of Mount Hermon camps, student leaders in AACF chapters across the West Coast, adult lay leaders from local churches, and many others.

In all these relationships, my goal is to inspire and encourage them to serve the Lord—not with a spirit of fear, but with power, love, and sound judgment (2 Tim 1:6-7). Ministry can easily become overwhelming when we lose sight of the fact that it is God's work, not ours. When that happens, we may fall into the trap of thinking its success depends solely on our own efforts and ingenuity. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. God's ministry is initiated and sustained by Him. Our role is to remain faithful, authentic, and devoted to trusting and loving Him first and foremost.

I invite you to join me in supporting those, young and old, who are giving their lives to God's calling. Your generosity will directly contribute to this mission by covering essential ministry expenses, such as meeting costs, training materials, books, event expenses, travel, and even parking fees at universities (which, I must say, can be quite excessive!).
