For over 75 years, JEMS has been on a mission to share the good news of Jesus. What started back in 1950 as an outreach to Japanese immigrants on the West Coast has grown into something much bigger—reaching out to the Asian American Pacific Islander community here, and, internationally, to the people of Japan—which remains the second-largest unreached people group in the world!

We are motivated by our deep gratitude for the incredible love and mercy God has shown us through Jesus. And while we know we can’t save the world on our own, it is clear that we have been commanded by the Lord to share the good news of our risen Savior - His love, His redemption, and the hope He offers everyone who is willing to listen and believe.
