Sports Ministry
We all have people in our lives we’d like to invite to church, but we may hesitate due to fear of their response. Imagine inviting them to an event where they’d have a great time, hear a Gospel-centered message, and enjoy fellowship with Christians—an event they’d be excited to attend!
This is the vision for JEMS’ Sports Ministry. We aim to create sports events—clinics, tournaments, and camps—where we’re eager to invite and bring our family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and classmates.
Over the past 20 years, church attendance across the US has declined by 12%, while participation in sports has dramatically increased. We want to leverage this trend, using sports to connect people with Jesus and His followers. We’d love for you to join our team in reaching as many people as possible through these events.
