EFT

What is Electronic Fund Transfer?

EFT is a new easy way for a donor to support workers and/or ministries of JEMS. An electronic fund transfer (EFT) will transmit your designated gift directly from your bank account to the JEMS bank account. The funds are then credited to the specific ministries of your choice. This eliminates the necessity for you to write checks every month to support JEMS workers and ministries. If during the year, you wish to make a one-time gift or special donation other than to those designated on your EFT Withdrawal Authorization Form, a separate check can be mailed to JEMS.

Participation in the EFT program is completely optional. If you desire to continue supporting us through periodic offerings, that is perfectly fine and much appreciated.

Is there a minimum amount? What is the length of commitment?

The minimum contribution for your participation in the EFT program is $10 per month. You may change the amount of your donation, your designation, or discontinue your participation in this program at any time simply by notifying the JEMS office in writing by mail or fax. Also, please give JEMS at least two months notification before closing the account from which the EFT is being drawn or if any information on the account is changed.

Will I have a record?

Your monthly bank statement will indicate the date and amount of your donation which has been transferred to JEMS. In place of a JEMS monthly receipt, an Annual Tax Deduction Statement will be sent to you at the beginning of each year. However, if requested, JEMS will gladly send a monthly statement.

How do I begin participation?

You may begin your participation by completing the Withdrawal Authorization Form or call the JEMS Office at 213.613.0022 or contact us through e-mail info@jems.org
